9/11 Memorial Poem

On the rise of the morning sun, the people trotted about their business, kept in the dark about what was to come

Then came the birds of steel straight out of the gates of the devil, crashing into those two pillars of the world

Ashes fell, though some lived to tell, many disappeared leaving their families to wonder, where did they vanish

A search was made but none could find, where their loved ones were, in the rubble behind
